Ramtown sits about 9 miles north-northeast of the center of Toms River, one of the 46 named areas we cover across this stretch of Ocean County. It's not a spot you pass through on the way to somewhere else on the shore - it's a residential pocket with its own housing pattern, distinct from the newer construction closer to the water and the older stock nearer downtown Toms River. We don't have street names or landmarks to point to here, and we're not going to make any up.
