The Short Version
We fix and replace garage doors in Toms River and the towns around it, out to about 10-14 miles in most directions. What We Are Called Out For
The most common call is a broken torsion spring on a double door, usually on a house built in that 1960s-70s wave that makes up most of this area's stock. Second most common is an opener that's stopped responding - often gears worn out from age, sometimes a logic board that's given up after years of cold-weather cycling. We also see bent tracks from doors that got backed into, worn rollers that have started grinding, and cables that have frayed near the drum. On older homes - the ones from the 1938-1955 range - we sometimes find hardware that was never upgraded to modern safety cables, which we'll flag even if it's not why you called. One honest limitation: we don't stock every panel style for every door age, so if you've got an older, less common door and need a matching replacement panel rather than a full door swap, expect a lead time on the part, not a same-day fix.
