Pine Ridge at Crestwood sits about 7 miles west-southwest of the center of Toms River. It's one of the 46 named areas that make up this part of the county, and like most of its neighbors on that side of town, the housing here dates from the wave of building that ran from the late 1930s through the early 2000s, with the bulk of it going up in the 1960s and 70s.
